We are looking for a Credit Analyst to join our Product team, working directly on the evolution of a proprietary Artificial Intelligence solution focused on corporate credit analysis.
The professional will be responsible for validating financial analyses generated by AI, identifying improvement opportunities, defining business rules, and supporting the continuous development of the product.
More than analyzing financial statements, this professional will serve as a business expert, ensuring that the AI consistently reproduces the reasoning expected from an experienced credit analyst.
What you will do:
- Analyze financial statements of companies across different industries and sizes;
- Validate the consistency of data extracted by Artificial Intelligence models;
- Compare AI-extracted information against original financial statements (PDFs);
- Identify accounting inconsistencies, incorrect classifications, and opportunities to improve AI models;
- Create functional documentation and business rules for platform enhancements;
- Collaborate with Product, Data, and Development teams to prioritize improvements;
- Support the creation of new financial indicators and risk metrics;
- Participate in defining credit analysis methodologies implemented in the solution;
- Perform functional testing before new product releases;
- Support technical product demonstrations for clients when necessary;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the AI engine through validation of analysis results.
What you need to know:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fields;
- Proven experience in corporate credit analysis;
- Solid knowledge of:
- Balance Sheet;
- Income Statement (P&L);
- Cash Flow Statement;
- Notes to Financial Statements;
- Financial ratios;
- Liquidity analysis;
- Leverage analysis;
- Profitability analysis;
- Working Capital;
- EBITDA;
- Cash Flow analysis;
- Ability to identify accounting and financial inconsistencies;
- Advanced Excel skills;
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail;
- Experience using information systems;
- Good knowledge of web-based systems.
We’d love it if you have:
- Experience in banks, fintechs, credit bureaus, or corporate risk departments;
- Knowledge of IFRS and accounting standards;
- Experience with OCR, Artificial Intelligence, or Machine Learning applied to financial services;
- Experience with functional testing (QA);
- Knowledge of SQL or data analysis tools;
- Advanced or fluent English and/or Spanish.
